FINCA Tajikistan held Business Breakfasts for women leaders in Gender Awareness Month

As a part of celebrating Gender Awareness Month FINCA Tajikistan held business breakfasts for women-leaders under FINCA Women Club initiative. The key idea for which these events were organized is discussion and communication between women leaders on topics related to the development of women’s entrepreneurship, strengthening the potential of women involved in active commercial and non-commercial activities, interaction and networking. At the same time, attracting an active audience made it possible to increase awareness of FINCA Women Club initiative.

Business breakfasts took part in two cozy cafes of Dushanbe and Khujand. Since such events were new for the company, the preparations were very serious. Discussions and choice of venue, speakers, guests were a very responsible task for all involved employees.

Invited speakers presented solutions to support women’s entrepreneurship in Tajikistan, the role of financial organizations in business development, the ways of obtaining financing for women-led business. Representatives of FINCA presented the FINCA Women Club and the benefits available for club members. At each event, we invited special guest-speakers, the women who works with FINCA for many years and grew their businesses with financial support of FINCA. They shared their experience, told how they started to develop their business, the difficulties they encountered along the way and how the loans are helped them make their businesses more successful.

We invited the most active women in Dushanbe in Khujand to participate in events. The opinion leaders, influencers, marketers, representatives of the beauty industry, needlewomen, and government representatives who are engaged in women initiatives. All those who make valuable contribution to gender equity.

Participants of Business Breakfasts showed great interest in the FINCA Women’s Club, because FINCA Tajikistan the first financial organization in Tajikistan who launched such initiative aimed at supporting the women business, to raise the level of financial literacy of them and providing affordable financial solutions for women.
