Global Money Week 2025: Financial Literacy Training for Youth in Tajikistan
As part of the annual Global Money Week initiative aimed at increasing financial literacy among youth, training sessions were held for students of secondary educational institutions in Tajikistan from April 24 to April 29, 2025.
Dushanbe, Gissar, Khujand: Education for the Future
On April 24, 2025, we conducted an interactive training session at Secondary School No. 30 in Dushanbe, focusing on the importance of financial education. Students learned about the basics of personal finance management, budgeting, and responsible consumption.
The next day, on April 25, a financial literacy course took place at Secondary School No. 39 in Tursunzade, where participants gained practical knowledge about managing money, investing, and avoiding debt traps.
Additionally, similar training sessions were held on April 29 at Secondary School No. 6 in Khujand. These events contributed to educating youth on the fundamentals of financial literacy. Students attended the training with great interest and derived maximum benefit from it.
Why is This Important?
These events provided an excellent opportunity for students to understand the significance of financial literacy in the modern world and prepare for adult life. We are confident that the knowledge gained will help young people develop a responsible attitude towards finances and build the skills necessary for successful resource management.
Contributing to the Future
Conducting such training sessions helps create a financially literate generation ready to face contemporary challenges. We aim to continue our work in this direction and inspire youth to make informed financial decisions.
