Deposits of citizens of Tajikistan are protected by the Deposit and Savings Insurance Fund of Tajikistan. This Fund was established to ensure the rights of depositors in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Deposit and Savings Insurance” (dated August 2, 2011, No. 758).

In the event of an insured incident at a credit organization, the Deposit and Savings Insurance Fund of Tajikistan compensates depositors for insured amounts up to 35,000 somoni. All banks and microcredit organizations that are members of the Fund hold a Membership Certificate.
