From June 22 to June 24, in Shaartus, Jomi districts and the city of Bokhtar of Khatlon region, regular trainings were held for participants of the FINCA Women’s Club on the topic of Financial Literacy.

About 18 women took part in the training in Shaartus district. Our trainers opened the topic “Farming as a family business” and told the participants in detail about:

  • Development of agriculture in Tajikistan
  • The concept of agriculture as a family business
  • Running a family business
  • Rural business financial management, etc.

The disclosure of the topic of the training for all the women who participated was useful and interesting, since all the participants have land, are engaged in cattle breeding or poultry farming.

On June 23 and 24, trainings were held in Bokhtar city and in A. Jomi district on such topics as “Women’s entrepreneurship. How to start and develop your own business” and “Women’s entrepreneurship. Development of the confectionery business.”

During these trainings, the participants were told:

  • Who is an entrepreneur
  • Myths about modern entrepreneurship
  • How to start and grow your business
  • How to find your own business

In addition, part of the training in Bokhtar was practical: One of the current entrepreneurs, who is engaged in confectionery, told how she started her small business, and also conducted a master class in baking several types of cakes and pastries.
We express our deep gratitude to our trainers for conducting interesting and useful trainings for the participants of the FINCA Women Club.
