On 20-21 of October in Dushanbe MDO FINCA took part in National Conference “Financial inclusion: global trends, opportunities, best practices”, which took place at “Hyatt Regency Dushanbe” hotel. The event was held with the assistance of Associations of Microfinance Organizations of Tajikistan (AMFOT).
The National Bank of Tajikistan, representatives of international financial institutions, investment and consulting companies, international organizations, local entrepreneurs and mass media actively participated in conference.
On the conference were discussed such issues like the impact of geopolitical crises at the event and preventive measures, which the business community needs to do and banking sector, the impact of economic crises and world pandemic COVID-19 on foreign investment flows and changing the conditions for providing additional funding to already concluded agreements and contracts, modern requirements and criteria, established by foreign investors, taking urgent measures to improve the investment climate in the country.
The Head of AMFOT Zebo Fatthidinova noted, that this conference is an effective platform for discussion and coordination of actions of the National Bank, parliament, governments, Advisory Council to the President on Improving the Investment Climate, the donor community, foreign investors, entrepreneurs, representatives of NGO and business service providers, as well as representatives of financial structures of the near and far abroad to solve existing issues.
During the event, an opportunity for acquaintance, communication and establishment of business contacts between the conference participants was also provided.
